Spring snow removal

Early start to spring we hope, snow cleared off 9 greens, and ice is all melted. Hopefully a good sign of things to come! Earliest we have done this since 2017!! Nine down ten more to go in mid March.

Since the grass on greens can typically survive 30 to 60 days under a ice cover, the snow and ice need to be removed when the temperatures allow it. The ice on these greens had been there since January 20th, so with the warm temperatures this past week we were able to get air to the greens surface.
