Bear Creek is an 18-hole golf course complete with Driving Range, Practice Area, Pro-Shop, Restaurant and Event Center.

Bear Creek hosts Members, Green Fee Players, Leagues, Socials, Corporate Tournaments, Weddings and Events throughout the year.

CLUBHOUSE MANAGER

The Clubhouse Manager will promote and encourage a healthy team environment within the organization working toward common goals, and follow standard operation procedures required to create a professional and welcoming environment for all guests.

The Clubhouse Manager:
Be able to manage and give clear, concise direction to a daily staff & work with minimal supervision
Min 5 years of experience selling
Min 5 years of experience in Management.
Has an interest in the game of golf.
Honest, reliable, trustworthy and self-motivated
Good understanding of projections, reporting and budgeting
Outstanding communication skills
Will work closely with GM and Manager, always maintain professional appearance (staff uniforms) & demeanor
Participate and oversee day to day Golf Shop Operations
Prepare & Serve food & beverages as required
Work daily shifts in Pro Shop to ensure familiarity with the customers & facility
Perform active role in the operation to ensure knowledge of procedures and protocols
Oversee Food and Beverage Operations
Work closely with Tournament Director and Event Coordinator to ensure Tournaments and Events are all planned and organized to the customers desires.
Train, Supervise and Evaluate, Pro Shop, Kitchen, Driving Range, Event Center & Back Shop staff, ensure that the customers are fully served & that labor costs are maintained, periodically check timecards for adherence to posted schedule
Sell and Promote Bear Creek Golf Club, Includes Golf, Tournaments, Weddings, Meetings Christmas/Birthday/Anniversary/Retirement Parties

EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN

Responsible for all equipment maintenance and repairs of all golf course and all guest carrying vehicles. Responsible for making major and minor repairs on a variety of gasoline, diesel, and electric powered equipment.

Specific Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule all equipment for repairs and/or maintenance.
Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical defects in golf course maintenance and construction equipment. Grind, backlap, set and adjust mowers.
Overhaul and repair automotive and other powered equipment including engines, brakes, transmissions, differentials, springs, hydraulics, electrical and mufflers; secure and replace tools and parts.
Responsible for administrative duties in relation to operation of shop including vehicle record maintenance, inventory control, safety checklists for equipment.
Assist with any golf course maintenance.
Maintain shop in orderly condition, cleaning working areas after repairs are completed.
Direct the operation of the cart maintenance program. Fill equipment with fuel and check fluid levels; inspects, change and repair tires.

GOLF COURSE COOK

The Cook is responsible for the day to day cooking and prep work for the kitchen facility. The successful candidate will have the ability to work in a team environment. This position will report directly to the Clubhouse Manager.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
-Prepare & Serve food & beverages
-Plan and prepare meal and specials for all events
-Maintain professional appearance (staff uniforms) & demeanor at all times
-Oversee the ordering/purchasing and inventory of kitchen supplies and food; monitor daily the food & beverage facility to ensure the quality of food & timeliness of service.
-Daily cleaning, vacuuming, mopping & garbage removal of kitchen,
-Ensure the food & beverage department runs smoothly, profitably, efficiently and within the guidelines of the law.
-Booking tee times & checking in customers for golf course & RV Park

GROUNDS MAINTENANCE STAFF

Bear Creek Golf Club and Double R Golf and Turf has openings for Maintenance Staff. Individuals who takes pride in their work with the ability to successfully contribute to a progressive team environment

Duties:
To perform the day-to-day operations of the Bear Creek Golf Club including
Irrigation repairs, mowing and weedeating
Involvement with all aspects of golf course & equipment maintenance
Participate in the operation and maintenance of all turf areas, residential lawn maintenance, residential construction and residential irrigation installations
Positive attitude with desire to work in a flexible work environment
Enjoys the outdoors and has an interest in the game of golf.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to get along easily with others and function as a high performing team member.
Must be able to follow direction and work independently,
Valid drivers license
This is a full time position with 40-44/hours per week and offers a competitive wage
